Following directives from the Inspector General of Sindh Police, Ghulam Nabi, six police officers have been dismissed from their positions over allegations of corruption. The dismissed officers are accused of receiving bribes from garbage collectors in exchange for weekly payments. Among the dismissed officers are ASI Hanif Khanzada, ASI Haroon Al-Rasheed, former head constable Iqbal Market, head constable Bilal Yaqoob, former head constable Mominabad, head constable Iftikhar Shah, and head constable Sadiq Abbas, along with other officials. The decision to dismiss these officers underscores the Sindh Police’s commitment to maintaining integrity within its ranks and ensuring accountability.
