ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has rejected FIR lodged after attack on Raoof Hasan, who was attacked by group of transgender in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The former ruling party demanded formation of judicial commission on the attack on its central information secretary, who suffered injuries after unidentified people.
In a press conference by PTI leader Omar Ayub and Raoof Hasan, the senior leaders condemned attack on Hassan, calling it assassination attempt.
CCTV footage also went viral online, showing person interacting with Hassan when he was moving towards parking area after coming out from the TV office. Shortly, three other persons joined and they attacked him.
Ayub stated that the judicial commission should immediately be formed to investigate the attack.
