Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore arrested two human traffickers during separate actions in different cities of Punjab on Tuesday.
According to FIA officials, human trafficker Atif Bilal was detained from Lahore while IkramSaifi was arrested from Okara.
Accused Atif Bilal sent a man to Iran for employment where he was taken hostage, brutally tortured and five million rupees were demanded from his heirs for release of the victim.
Accused IkramSaifi received Rs7,50,000 for sending him to Germany for employment but had disappeared after collecting the money. The FIA officials said that investigations against the detainees have been kicked off.
