ISLAMABAD – Former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has been arrested from the federal capital Islamabad.
Former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas was taken into custody in a case registered at Margalla police station. He is accused in a case of attacking a mall. Six serious charges have been filed against him based on a complaint lodged by the mall’s security in-charge.
The case names Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, Muhammad Ali, Anil Sultan, Rizwan, and other unidentified individuals.
The complaint alleges that Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, accompanied by an armed group of 20 to 25 people, broke into the mall’s office by breaking the lock. The accused are alleged to have threatened to kill and also assaulted a security guard in the office.
