Measures for welfare of police force, families assured

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures for the best welfare of police force and their families, in continuation of which, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has resolved the hearing problem of the daughter of another police official.

According to the details, Seven-year-old Fatima Zahra underwent a successful cochlear implant surgery, restoring her ability to hear.

This transformative procedure has not only brought joy to Fatima Zahra and her family but has also enabled her to pursue her education, as she has been enrolled in school following the treatment.

DPO Chakwal, Captain (Retired) Wahid Mehmood, personally visited the school where Fatima Zahra is now enrolled to meet her and interact with other challenged children. Constable Muhammad Gulistan, expressing his heartfelt gratitude, credited IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar for the life-changing intervention. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that so far 17 children of police employees have undergone cochlear implant surgeries, after cochlear implant surgeries, all the children are leading their lives normally.

Highlighting ongoing initiatives, Dr. Usman Anwar mentioned the “Hamaray Phool” project, which provides a monthly stipend of 15,000 rupees to children affected by conditions like Thalassemia and cerebral palsy for their treatment. He affirmed the commitment to further enhance medical facilities for the families of police employees, indicating a continued focus on improving their quality of life.
