Sufi icon AbidaParveen joins Sindh talent hunt program

Internationally acclaimed Sufi singer Abida Parveen is set to spearhead the Sindh Talent Hunt Program, as confirmed by Provincial Minister for Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, and Archives, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, following a meeting with the legendary artist. During the discussion, Minister Shah emphasized the vast potential of Sindh’s youth, highlighting the need for a platform to showcase their talents. He underscored the pivotal role of the Sindh Culture and Tourism Department in providing such a platform, with AbidaParveen’s involvement serving as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring artists. Minister Shah expressed gratitude for Parveen’s support, citing her stature as an institution representing Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage on the global stage.

Furthermore, Minister Shah extended an invitation to AbidaParveen to visit the Sindh Institute of Music and Performance Art in Jamshoro, aiming to foster collaboration between established and emerging talents in the province. In response, AbidaParveen pledged her full support to Minister Shah’s initiatives for promoting Sindh’s culture. She accepted the invitation to visit the Sindh Institute of Music and Performance in Jamshoro, expressing readiness to contribute to the department’s efforts. The meeting was attended by prominent host BuxMehranavi and Director of Culture, HabibullahMemon.
