Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has said that the provincial government was vehemently working on strengthening the judiciary to provide speedy justice to the citizens, adding 100 more judges added to the number of judges in various courts so that Cases pending for years can be disposed of quickly and relief can be given to the public.
He said that the role of lawyers is key in providing justice to the people and the supremacy of law. In the process of improving the current system, all stakeholders including lawyers should fully support the provincial government to create a system in which only the supremacy of the constitution is established.
He expressed these views while addressing the swearing-in ceremony of High Court Bar Association DI Bench in Dera Ismail Khan on Saturday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister administered the oath to the newly elected cabinet of the Bar Association. Honorary membership of High Court Bar Association DI Khan was also given to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the ceremony.
He said Rule of law and provision of speedy justice are prominent in the manifesto of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and the provincial government is moving forward under this vision. He further said that in order to provide speedy justice to the people, there is a need to fix timelines for disposal of cases according to their nature so that the cases are disposed of in the shortest possible time. want to do The Chief Minister further said that our province is not poor but rich in resources and the present provincial government is working on effective and better utilization of these resources for the development of the province.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that this province is forced to buy expensive electricity and gas by producing cheap electricity, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is producing the most electricity, but despite this, there is the worst load shedding. Regarding load shedding, WAPDA is responsible for the people of the province. should be given relief. We are not getting our dues in terms of electricity, we are struggling to get the rights of the province from the federal government and the lawyers’ community of the province should fully support the provincial government in this struggle.
