MuttahidaQaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has taken action against former MPA SadaqatHussainfor allegedly threatening a female teacher at an examination center in Karachi. The party suspended his basic membership and formed an investigation committee to look into the matter, emphasized zero tolerance for such behavior.
In response to a video showing Hussain’s confrontation with the teacher, the Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards pledged action against him, highlighting the Education Department’s commitment to preventing harassment and misconduct by its employees. The incident occurred during the ongoing Matriculation exams in Karachi, with over 365,102 registered candidates across 505 examination centers. The examinations, covering both ninth and tenth grades, will conclude on May 31.
