District Head Quarters Hospital (DHQ) has been upgraded from category B to A and given the status of teaching hospital. Patients are striving for all the basic facilities. 45 crores are required for Skybridge and other unfinished projects. Doctors and civil society have to work together to eradicate the root causes of diseases with treatment.
MS of DHQ Teaching Hospital Mardan and Acting DHO Dr. Javed Iqbal and eminent child physician Dr. Syed Muhammad Tariq expressed their views during the Meet the Press program of Mardan Press Club. President of Paramedical Association Taj Muhammad and General Secretary Ajmal Khan were also present on this occasion.
Dr Javed Iqbal said that 10 to 12 specialist Doctors Vacancy are vacant in the hospital, while the transfer of Eyes.
