Historic shake up in customs

As Part of the prime Minister’s drive to change FBR the Customs wing has undertaken one of its biggest ever shakeup for meeting the challenging revenue target and particularly to control smuggling. This shake up involves re-development and transfer of 1,650 official positions.
In this context, a total of 180 post in BS-16 have been re-designated while 1,568 post in BS-16 have been re-deployed across Pakistan. This shakeup has not been keep limited to low grade position but 84 post BS-17 to BS-21 have also been re-deployed.
