LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operation against violation of building bylaws in Lahore.
On Monday, LDA teams demolished illegal market in D-Block of Khayaban-e-Amin. LDA Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali supervised the demolition operation carried out by the enforcement team with the help of heavy machinery and Police. As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to the owner of illegal market before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General (DG) Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operation against encroachments, illegal commercial use and violation of building bylaws in Lahore.
