Steel and Iron prices in Pakistan saw slight fall on a month-on-month basis in May 2024, continuing the slide as the country’s economy is on the path to recovery despite challenges.

Price per ton moved down by Rs5,000, and it is said to be a slight relief for inflation-hit people who are facing unprecedented prices.

Pakistanis, who are planning to start construction soon, will be able to rake in benefit of cheap iron, and steel. Further drop in steel prices will contribute more to economic revival.
