Politicisation of sports
Ever since cronies and political appointees have been made heads of sports bodies and organizations, performance on the field and key international events like Olympics has declined. This became acute, ever since Arif Hassan was appointed as head of Pakistan Olympics. He remained as head of Pakistan Olympics for over 20 years and during his tenure the country did not win any medals. It was only when he himself, chose to leave, was there a change.
When favouritism becomes the norm and those made head Hockey, Football etc federations, and funds allocated are at their discretion, with nominated board members, then indiscipline creeps at the helm. We have witnessed large numbers of sports officials accompanying players to international events, enjoying free junkets. Funds should only be spent on players, their training and upkeep etc instead of on officials. Appointment of retired officers to head these organizations has not benefitted the game.
Funds were either abused or wasted for purposes other than promotion of the game. Pakistan Cricket Board has also displayed tolerance for players, who were involved in match fixing etc with enough evidence to cast serious doubts about their integrity. There should have been Zero Tolerance for individuals involved in irregularities. Sports organizations should be headed by professionals with integrity and no stigma attached. Merit must prevail in choice of appointments to sports organizations, instead of their being reduced as trophies to be doled out to cronies and favourites of powerful few.

Unemployment
I’m deeply concerned about a life threatening issue that has multiple impacts to the economic growth and development of our society: unemployment. It stands as a pressing issue that Pakistan is grappling with it so forth. The high rate of unemployment increases challenges of economic phenomenon and financial instructors. Unemployment emerges as a paramount matter that makes the residents’ lives very complicated and makes economic growth low.
Pakistan finds worldwide numbers of high unemployment rate, making acute challenges regarding the lives of individuals. Pakistan grapples with multiple hardships but the most ongoing concern is unemployment by which economic growth becomes a danger. The government needs to provide enough jobs and facilities that might be a support for its own benefits. Regrettably the concerned authorities have not effectively addressed the matter. Therefore, I recommend the government to take a serious action regarding this alarming problem and strive to solve it seriously.

Promoting
Pak products
In recent times, there’s been a growing consensus in Pakistan regarding the significance of supporting locally manufactured goods. However, this sentiment hasn’t fully translated into genuine efforts to bolster the national economy, despite its direct benefits. Promoting Pakistani products aims to fortify the economy by boosting local brands and goods, leading to a reduction in imports and saving foreign exchange.
Local brands play a pivotal role in Pakistan’s thriving economy, serving as the backbone of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and robust industries. This fosters self-sufficiency and ensures steady demand in the local market.
Moreover, local production reduces reliance on global supply chains, mitigating risks from external factors like trade disputes or geopolitical tensions. Additionally, it helps control inflation, particularly in sectors like food and healthcare, where prices remain unaffected by currency fluctuations.

Inflation in Pakistan
Inflation is a pressing concern that has brought significant challenges regarding people’s lives. Due to the high rate of inflation residents are suffering from various difficulties regarding their lives. In Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan, it caused multiple hardships that made the residents’ lives very critical. It is a common issue which creates immense many hardships for poor communities. Pakistan finds worldwide numbers of high rates of inflation. But unfortunately, the government has not shown any results effectively. It is not only affecting the people’s lives but also for the economic development it has many challenges. The reason why it goes is due to corruption. Now the economic phenomenon has become so low and we can’t support ourselves to make a good living in the country. I imperatively implore the government to look into the matter as soon as possible.
