Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif met Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmad Khan. Provincial Ministers Bilal Yasin, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani and Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman were also present on the occasion. Matters pertaining to mutual interest, political situation and steps being taken to provide relief to the people were discussed in the meeting.
The Chief Minister said, “The well-being of a common man is our foremost priority and we are serving the masses without any discrimination. Development projects have been launched in the province and the people will soon reap their fruits. Reforms in the health, agriculture, education, infrastructure and in all other service oriented sectors are being introduced.”
The Speaker Punjab Assembly acknowledged that CM Maryam Sharif is working beyond the expectations. He said that ‘Sasti Roti’, hospital upgradation and ‘Apni Chat-Apnaa Ghar’ for the homeless people are exemplary projects of the Punjab government. Khawaja Salman Rafique said that under the dynamic leadership of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif, all departments including the Health department have been set on the path of improvement and progress.
Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani said that CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s historic Kisan Package will prove to be a game changer for enhancing provincial agricultural production. Bilal Yasin said that on the direction of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Roti at Rs. 16 is being provided to the people, where any lapse is noticed then prompt action is being taken in this regard. Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman lauded that CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif is working day and night for the well-being of the people of Punjab.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision for the welfare of vulnerable children has taken a significant step forward through an initiative led by Provincial Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt. Under the slogan “The state will be like a mother,” Maryam Nawaz and her team are committed to supporting orphaned and helpless children.
In a heartwarming event organized by the Social Welfare Department under Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt’s leadership, nearly 130 innocent children from Kashana and Model Children Homes were treated to a special screening of the Pakistan-New Zealand T20 match at Gaddafi Stadium. The initiative, undertaken in collaboration with Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi, aimed to provide recreational opportunities for these children.
With the cooperation of the Pakistan Cricket Board, orphaned and helpless children were transported to the PCB enclosure in a specially arranged bus.
