Keamari Police have reported successful operations over the past 24 hours, resulting in the apprehension of 23 suspects. Captain (Retd) Faizan Ali, SSP Keamari, provided details of the arrests, revealing that among those apprehended were 3 street criminals, 6 drug dealers, 1 absconder, and 13 individuals involved in various other crimes. During the operations, the police recovered 3 pistols, 2 kilograms of charas (cannabis resin), 69 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and a stolen motorcycle from the arrested suspects.
Furthermore, the police seized over 4 dozen chalia (smoking pipes) and more than 46 packets of gutka (a chewing tobacco mixture), along with other materials used in the preparation of various narcotics.
The arrests were made in areas including Baldia Town, Site A, Site B, Maripur, Pak Colony, Docks, and Shershah. Legal proceedings against the suspects have been initiated by registering cases at respective police stations, and the suspects have been handed over to investigative authorities for further interrogation.
