Chairman of the Student Parents Federation NadeemMarza has been granted bail following accusations leveled against him. The Sindh judiciary magistrate in Hyderabad approved his release on a bond of Rs. 10,000. Marza, who was detained in Hyderabad Central Jail, was brought back to Karachi after his release. The allegations against Marza were initiated by Abdul MajidQureshi, who accused him of involvement in a fraudulent fruit business. Qureshi claimed that Marza had deceitfully obtained funds for a fruit venture and demanded legal action against him. However, Marza vehemently denied these allegations, attributing them to a smear campaign orchestrated by Qureshi to tarnish his reputation.
Expressing gratitude towards his supporters, friends, and family, Marza maintained his innocence, stressing that he was subjected to coercion and brutality during his detention. Marza’s lawyer emphasized the fabrication of charges against his client and highlighted the coercive tactics employed during the investigation. The case, registered as FIR No. 99/2024 at the A-Section Police Station in Hyderabad, has sparked controversy and drawn attention to the need for a fair and transparent legal process. Both Marza and his legal team have vowed to pursue legal action against those responsible for fabricating false accusations.
The incident has shed light on the importance of safeguarding individuals’ rights and ensuring due process in legal proceedings.
