ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is not visiting China, said Foreign Office on Tuesday.
Foreign Office SpokespersonMumtaz rejected the recent speculations surrounding Mr. Dar’s visit to China.
Contrary to reports in the certain media outlets, the spokesperson for the Foreign Office categorically denied any plans for Minister Qureshi to embark on a trip to China starting tomorrow.
She said that there is no scheduled itinerary for such a visit at this time.
The Spokesperson made it clear that any announcements regarding the Foreign Minister’s international engagements would be made in due course and at an appropriate time.
The FO reaction came after the reports emerged that Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is travelling to China along with PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif.
