Capital new highway renamed as Iran Avenue

The federal government has decided to name a new highway in Islamabad after the brotherly neighbouring country, Iran.
Islamabad’s Eleventh Avenue has been named Iran Avenue as per the federal government’s decision. The decision has been accorded by the federal cabinet on the CDA summary through circulation.

It may be noted that the CDA has started the construction of Eleventh Avenue. Iranian Presi¬dent EbrahimRaisi today arrived in Pakistan for a three-day official visit.
