RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Army claimed killing eleven militants in two different operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.
A press release shared by Inter-Services Public Relations said an intelligence-based operation held in Dera Ismail Khan on militant’s sanctuary on the reported presence of insurgents.
It said an intense fire exchange was started during the conduct of the operation, and a group of ten militants were successfully neutralized.
The dead militants remained actively involved in several terror activities in the area against security forces as well as innocent civilians, ISPR said. Forces also claimed to recover arms and ammunition from the militants.
The second operation held in North Waziristan, where a militant was gunned down.
Area residents commended armed forces operations as Army remains determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
