Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Saad Rafique said on Thursday called for restoring social media. Expressing his thoughts, Rafique was of the view that the battle of politics should be fought solely through political means.

Meanwhile, the Sindh High Court (SHC) directed the interior ministry to withdraw the X closure notification setting a one-week deadline for the compliance of the order.

The provincial apex court also asked the interior ministry to submit reasons behind the closure of X, formerly known as Twitter, by May 9. The SHC chief justice remarked by and large there was no reason for imposing a ban on X. The SHC CJ remarked that there’s nothing in the Constitution about implementing on the reports of the intelligence agencies.—INP
