Commissioner chairs 29th Intl Mushaira review meeting

Commissioner Karachi Syed HasanNaqvi chaired a meeting to review arrangements for the upcoming 29th International Mushaira, scheduled to be held in Karachi on April 20th. The organizing committee, headed by Chief Organizer Mahmood Ahmad Khan, briefed the attendees on the event’s details.

Deputy Commissioner ShehzadFazalAbbasi, Municipal Commissioner AzeemZaidi, senior police and traffic officers, representatives from the Solid Waste Management Board, Water and Sewerage Board, and members of the organizing committee attended the meeting. The meeting focused on ensuring security, cleanliness, traffic management, and other essential facilities for the event. Commissioner Syed HasanNaqvi highlighted the significance of hosting the international mushaira in Karachi, stating that it would showcase the city’s literary and positive endeavors to the world. He emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to ensure the success of the mushaira and directed officials to ensure the provision of security and civic amenities.
