Nasir raises concerns over overbilling by power companies

Sindh Energy Minister Syed NasirHussain Shah expresses deep concern over the issue of overbilling by HESCO, SEPCO, and K-Electric, emphasised the need for immediate action to address the confusion and distress caused to consumers. During a high-level meeting of the Energy Department, he directs officials to meet with representatives of HESCO, SEPCO, and K-Electric to ensure concrete measures are taken to refund consumers for overcharged amounts. He stressed the urgency of installing digital meters for both government and non-government consumers, ensuring transparency in meter readings and billings. Minister Shah asserts that no institution has the right to exploit the hard-earned money of the public.

He affirms that the Sindh government, under the vision of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, is committed to taking all possible measures to provide relief to the people across all fronts.
