Seven terrorists attempting to infiltrate Pakistan-Afghan border eliminated in Waziristan

RAWLAPINDI – At least seven terrorists attempting to infiltrate Paki-Afghan border were gunned down in North Waziristan, the army’s media affairs wing said Wednesday.

A statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations said security forces detected a movement of group of seven terrorists, trying to infiltrate the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the area of Spinkai, Ghulam Khan of North Waziristan District.

Own troops surrounded the insurgents and it started an intense fire exchange. During the gun battle, all seven territories were eliminated.

Forces also gunned down huge quantities of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also recovered from the killed terrorists.

Islamabad has consistently been asking the Interim Afghan Government to ensure effective border management on their side of the border.

ISPR said Interim Kabul is expected to fulfill its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by terrorists for perpetrating acts of terrorism against Pakistan.

The security forces of Pakistan are determined and remain committed to securing its borders and eliminating the menace of terrorism from the country.
