KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan extended gains on Tuesday in line with upward trend in international market.
According to Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs2,400 to settle at all-time high level of Rs249,700 per tola.
The price of 10-gram gold also hit the record high after witnessing an increase of Rs2,057 to reach Rs214,077.
The international prices also saw an increase as rates of per ounce gold surged by $20 to settle at $2,371.

A day earlier, the price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs800 to settle at Rs247,300 per tola in domestic market of the country. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs686 to close at Rs212,020.
