Darul Imaan Institute distributes over Rs8m ration

Darul Imaan Institute has spent over Rs8.4million for distribution of hundreds of food packs among deserving families during the month of Ramazan.

According to a spokesman for the institute, campaign to successfully distribute nearly 24 tons of ration to hundreds of deserving families during Ramazan has been completed. With the support of generous donors, the institute provided food gift packs containing high-quality items to fasting people across the country.

The “Ramazan Kareem Food Package 2024” included essential grocery items such as 15-kg wheat flour bag, basmati rice, oil and ghee, sugar, pulses, gram flour, dates, tea leaves, and red chili powder, turmeric power and salt. Cash assistance up to Rs3,000 was also provided for the purchase of vegetables and meat, he added. From initial target of preparing 500 packs, the distribution reached nearly 700 bags, with 24 tons of ration delivered to those in need.

This initiative aimed to assist deserving individuals in meeting their daily needs during Ramazan, allowing them to observe the blessed month without any worries.
