PR announces 25% reduction in fares on Eid-ul-Fitr

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Railways has announced twenty five percent reduction in the fares as a special package for the commuters on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

A press statement issued in Lahore said that the railway fares would be reduced by 25percent for first three days of Eid-ul-Fitr.

This discount would be available on all types of trains and classes.

However, the discount would not be applicable on Eid Special trains.

On the other hand, the meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee for the sighting of the moon of Shawwal 1445 would be held under the chairmanship of its Chairman Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad in Islamabad today.

According to the Spokesperson of Ministry of Religious Affairs the meetings of zonal Committees will be held simultaneously at their respective locations in the provincial capitals.
