Sarmad Ali, Secretary General of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society has announced that the member publications of the APNS will observe two closed holiday on account of EID-UL-FITR as per following: In case the Eid falls on Wednesday, April 10, 2024; there will be no morning newspapers on Thursday, April 11, 2024 and Friday, April 12, 2024 whereas the evening newspapers not appearing on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 and Thursday, 11, 2024 may bring out their edition on Friday, April 12, 2024, if they so desire.

However, if Eid falls on Thursday, April 11, 2024; There will be no morning newspapers on Friday, April 12, 2024 and Saturday, April 13, 2024 whereas the evening newspapers not appearing on Thursday, April 11, 2024 and Friday, 12, 2024 may bring out their edition on Saturday, April 13, 2024, if they so desire.
