LAHORE – The job losses are looming as deliberations for overhauling of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is underway, the sources privy to the development said on Wednesday.

The sources said that the PCB decided to undertake a complete overhaul across several of its departments in an effort to enhance its operations.

There are considerations, they said, to completely revamp and reorganize certain divisions within the PCB, which may lead to personnel changes as part of the restructuring process.

They said that Brigadier (Retired) Sajjad Hameed, the Director of Media, is being relieved of his duties, with plans underway for a fresh appointment to fill the position.

The sources also said that PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs within the board.

Naqvi, they said, issued a stern message emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy towards mismanagement.

He took a firm stance for organizational efficiency.
