Eidul Fitr Holidays 2024: Mark your calendar as week-long Eid break starting April 8 this year

ABU DHABI – Holy month of Ramadan is coming to an end as the last Ashra is winding down, and people are set to celebrate Eid ul Fitr. As all eyes are on the Eid holidays, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) declared week-long holiday for its employees to celebrate the major Islamic festival.

In UAE, Eidul Fitr 2024 holidays will start April 8 (Wednesday) and will continue till April 14th (Tuesday).

After the festivity, schools and other educational institutions are slated to reopen on April 15.

Meanwhile, Eid holidays for private sector are still pending and are expected to last around a week time.

Emirates, and Saudi Arabia will observe Eidul Fitr on the same day. In Riyadh, both the public and private sectors are set to observe the Eidul Fitr holidays for four days (April 8-11).
