Dubai, a key state of the United Arab Emirates, houses schools of various countries, including India and Pakistan, to facilitate the expatriates in education of their children.
The Indian High School (IHS) is considered a prestigious and longest-standing Indian educational institution in the Gulf country. It has announced admissions for the Academic Year 2024-2025 from KG to Grade 10. The annual fee of Grade 5 in the Indian High Schools stands at AED5,525.
Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the government responsible authority, closely monitors the fee structure of the schools as it has uploaded the fee on its official website.
Parents across Dubai can benefit from a new resource designed to give them thorough and reliable information about their children’s school fees.
“The School Fees Fact Sheet is a one-page reference that includes all fees that a school may charge during an academic year,” says KHDA.
As well as mandatory tuition fees, it will include details of other verified fees that parents could pay during an academic year, such as transportation, extra-curricular activities, school trips and books, to name a few.
