In first letter to PM Shehbaz, US President Biden vows to continue cooperation with new Pakistani govt

ISLAMABAD – US Presiden Joe Biden on Friday congratulated Shahbaz Sharif on assuming the office of Prime Minister of Pakistan.

In his first letter to PM Sharif, the US President extended good wishes for the newly elected government.

He called partnership between two countries crucial for global and people’s safety. Biden was of view that both sides need to work together to deal with important challenges,
