KARACHI – The Pakistan Navy (PN) has rescued eight fishermen whose boat caught fire while in the open sea, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Monday.
The PN vessel, PNS Yarmook, responded to an emergency call from the fishermen and promptly arrived at the incident scene. Not only did it successfully rescue all the fishermen, but it also put out the fire on their boat.
The ISPR further stated that the Pakistani navy’s swift and efficient rescue operation demonstrated its unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety of human life at sea.
In response to Pakistan’s assistance, the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, expressed his gratitude.
