GCU Lahore female student roughs up professor over ‘sexual harassment’

LAHORE – Government College University Lahore is a prestigious educational institution known for its academic excellence and historical significance, but the varsity remains in the bad light as a faculty member was assaulted for harassing a female student.

At Government College University (GCU), a student assaulted an assistant professor. A video clip surfaced online, showing the female student pulling the accused’s hair and punching and slapping him.

A few other students also joined her as she pounded the chair on the professor in what appears to be the staff room.

GCU university administration reportedly took notice of the sexual harassment, confirming the incident. GCU Vice Chancellor ordered an investigation into the matter and a committee has been formed to conduct the inquiry.
