Senior Minister Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon chaired meeting of Sindh transport department to discuss various transportation initiatives across the province. The meeting, chaired by Secretary Transport Asad Zaman and attended by MD Sindh Mass Transit Authority Kamal Dayo and Project Director of People’s Bus Service Sahib Shafiq, focused on exchanging ideas regarding ongoing projects, including those under the People’s Bus Service, spanning Karachi and other regions of Sindh. Special attention was given to the Red Line BRT project, with directives issued by Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon to prioritize its implementation.

Discussions also revolved around issues related to the department’s depots, with instructions from Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon to swiftly address any outstanding concerns. Furthermore, Minister for Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon directed prompt resolution of depot-related issues to ensure efficient operations.

The meeting also resulted in the decision to integrate new buses into the People’s Bus Service.
