Efforts to bringing down incidences of gas theft have intensified ever since Operation Grift came into play. In recent raids conducted by SS&CGTO department of The Sui Southern Gas Company three more gas thieves were arrested. The SSGC Task force conducted a raid on Poly Tape Cottage Factory, situated in Orangi Town, Karachi, where owner of the factory was stealing gas using rod burners to run Molding Machines through iron and rubber pipes via illegally connecting directly from SSGC’s distribution line. Raidimg team arrested S. M. Aleem and started legal actions against him.–PR
