Senior Vice President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), Altaf A. Ghaffar, has voiced deep concerns over the rising inflation ahead of Ramazan ul Mubarak.
He has urged Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah to convene a meeting of the Price Control Committee to devise effective strategies and adopt stringent measures against profiteers and hoarders. Ghaffar emphasized the need for strict action to curb the skyrocketing prices of household products and commodities, warning that failure to act could severely impact the poor masses.

Ghaffar criticized the disregard for price lists issued by the Commissioner’s Office, stressing the importance of revisiting and enforcing the implementation strategy to end flagrant looting.
