Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has announced the dissolution of its Rabita Committee as part of a comprehensive organizational restructuring initiative.

Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui led the decision-making meeting, where it was unanimously agreed to revamp the Rabita Committee in the initial phase.

According to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P)  spokesperson, the decision to dissolve the existing Rabita Committee was taken by the party leadership. Subsequently, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui formed a Central Ad Hoc Committee to oversee the restructuring process.

Heading the ad hoc committee, Siddiqui will be joined by members including Syed Mustafa Kamal, Dr. Farooq Sattar, Nasreen Jalil, Anis Kaimkhani, Kaiful Wara, and Rizwan Babar.

Following the reconstitution of the Rabita Committee, the party will move on to restructure its provincial committees, zones, towns, and UCs in the next phase of the organizational overhaul.
