Despite the tripping of a High-Tension transmission line in Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Karachi’s power supply remains unaffected, reassured a spokesperson from Karachi Electric (KE). The transmission line in question, undergoing commissioning and testing, is not linked to any power source. The incident occurred earlier this week amid heavy winds, leading to the collapse of a transmission tower. Prompt action was taken as relevant teams were dispatched immediately to assess the situation and implement necessary measures. Fortunately, there have been no casualties or property damage reported as a result of this incident.
