Calls for action are growing louder as evidence of electoral fraud emerges from recent polls. Political figures, including Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori and MQM’s Mustafa Kamal, have admitted to manipulating election results, prompting demands for the Election Commission to invalidate fraudulent Form-47 results and disclose accurate Form-45 results. Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, has urged Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori to testify and reveal, how ousted party was imposed on public.
He condemned the electoral malpractice, stressed its detrimental impact on democratic principles.
He called on Governor Sindh to expose the full extent of irregularities, underscoring the need to safeguard democracy. Concerns over the electoral process’s legitimacy, particularly in Karachi, have been raised due to reported discrepancies between official results and actual votes cast. The failure of MQM to secure any seats in the city despite extensive polling stations has raised doubts about the election’s integrity. Jama-e-Islami urged swift action from the Election Commission to address these concerns and restore public trust. Failing to do so could jeopardize democracy and political stability in the country.
