PPP’s Shazia, Nafisa resign from special NA seats

Pakistan Peoples Party’s women leaders Shazia Atta Marri and Nafisa Shah have submitted their resignations from special Seats of National Assembly.

During the recently-held general elections, Shazia Marri got successful from NA-209 Sanghar while Nafeesha Shah got victory from NA-202 Khairpur against Ghous Ali Shah, former CM Sindh. While Shazia Marri got victory against GDA candidate Muhammad Khan Junejo.

According to Election Commission of Pakistan’s notification, PPP leaders Sharmila Faruqui and Sehar Kamran got elected as members National Assembly on special seats. Meanwhile, ECP also released victory notification of independent candidate Khizar Hussain Marri from PP-297 in Dera Ghazi Khan.
