Security measures are set to intensify on Shab-e-Barat across Sindh, as declared by Inspector General (IG) Sindh, Raffat Mukhtar Raja. The IG issued directives ensuring heightened security protocols during the occasion across the entire province. Mosques, imambargahs, shrines, and major graveyards will witness additional police presence.
These arrangements include the deployment of extra officers and the prohibition of fireworks and firecrackers. Police jurisdictions and districts will implement extraordinary measures to prevent disturbances and maintain peace. Emphasizing the sanctity of the night and the safety of citizens, authorities plan to implement comprehensive security arrangements, including checkpoints and additional personnel in plain clothes.
These measures aim to safeguard visitors attending graveyards and Mosques. In addition to bolstered security, all sectors, including main roads, shopping centers, significant religious sites, and public spaces, will undergo thorough patrolling, inspections, and heightened surveillance to ensure a safe and peaceful observance of Shab-e-Barat.
