The sudden power breakdown by K Electric at Dhabiji Pumping Station has impacted two lines: a 72-inch MS line (number five) and a 72-inch PRCC line, according to a spokesman of the KW&SC in Karachi.
Upon receiving the information, KW&SC officials promptly assessed the situation. CEO KW&SC Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed directed concerned officers to expedite the restoration work to minimize inconvenience to citizens. Restoration efforts are currently underway on an emergency basis, with water supply to the city being maintained through alternate lines, as confirmed by the Chief Engineer KW&SC.
