LAHORE – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday ordered the educational institutions to incorporate a dedicated period each week aimed at raising awareness about the environment and plant life.
Justice Shahid Karim of the LHC presiding over the Lahore High Court, issued a formal written directive concerning the submission of applications focusing on combating smog.
The court observed that all schools and colleges should allocate one period per week specifically for educating students about environmental issues and the importance of the plants.
The court held that the Judicial Commission Member should promptly disseminate this directive to all educational institutions.
The court also sought a report regarding allocation of security funds for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 matches.
The Judicial Water Commission presented a report indicating that citizens would not experience heightened inconvenience during PSL 9 matches.
The temporary traffic restrictions would be implemented for the duration of PSL matches, ensuring minimal disruption to citizens.
