Nation pays tribute to martyrs of Pakistan Army

The entire nation paid homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country. Sepoy Fayaz Ahmed was a very fearless soldier who embraced martyrdom for the sake of Pakistan. Fayyaz Ahmed embraced martyrdom on 24 January 2012 fighting bravely against terrorists in Balochistan. Hailing from Shikarpur, Sindh, he left behind his mother, widow and son.

The family members of Sepoy Fayaz Ahmed shaheed expressed they were very proud of his husband’s martyrdom. “My husband loved me and the children very much. He contacted his family two days before the martyrdom. My husband was martyred in the line of duty while serving the country. Four days after the martyrdom, I found out that my husband was martyred,” she said.

The widow of sepoy Fayaz Ahmad said: “I miss him a lot. My husband wanted to be a martyr. I will educate my son and join the army to serve the country,” Sepoy’s mother said: “I was saddened by the martyrdom of my son but happy that he was martyred.—NNI
