Habib University launches Al-Ihsan campaign

Habib University debuted a compelling documentary titled “Gift of Knowledge: Empowering Lives Through Islamic Philanthropy” to inaugurate its Al-Ihsan Campaign 2024.

The documentary, showcased at Mr. Arif Habib’s Residence on February 18th, delved into the profound legacy of Zakaat in Muslim culture, highlighting its pivotal role in advancing education and scientific progress.

Featuring eminent scholars including Javed Ahmad Ghamidi and Dr. Nauman Naqvi, the film underscored the importance of directing Zakaat towards higher education for the upliftment of Muslim societies. Habib University, known for its community-driven approach, initiated the Al-Ihsan Campaign to support deserving students through scholarships funded by Zakaat contributions.  The premiere event garnered praise from philanthropists and community leaders, emphasizing the university’s commitment to providing quality education regardless of socio-economic barriers.  President Wasif Rizvi expressed gratitude for the support, citing the potential of Pakistani youth in shaping the nation’s future. The evening concluded with calls to invest in higher education as a pathway to long-term prosperity.
