Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, Hafiz Naeemur-Rehman, addressing the Women’s Forum of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi at Idara Noor Haq, emphasized the significant role played by women in the recent elections and commended their diligent efforts. He revealed that immediately after the elections, a detailed letter outlining electoral irregularities was dispatched to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, urging him to investigate the election manipulation and the violation of the public mandate. Karachi’s populace has demonstrated overwhelming trust in Jamaat-e-Islami, casting over 800,000 votes in their favor.
The people of Karachi have rejected those who seek to destabilize the city and have expressed their discontent with the current system. Notably, Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI received the most votes in Karachi. Hafiz Naeem-ul-Rehman asserted that they have approached the courts for the seats won according to Form 45 and vowed to protect each vote and seat they’ve secured.
He demanded that the elections in Karachi be declared null and void, calling for an independent investigation into the results and the issuance of correct results as per Form 45. Those who won the elections have faced the wrath of public opinion and have been challenged democratically. The elections have become a spectacle globally.
Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Women’s Forum convener, JavedanFaheem, addressing the assembly, acknowledged that their path is not easy but filled with challenges. She emphasized that success lies in steadfastness and cited the exemplary perseverance of Gaza’s Muslims despite adverse circumstances.
Their ultimate goal is divine satisfaction and eternal success, and it is their responsibility to disseminate their message to as many people as possible, overcoming their weaknesses and advancing their mission with success as their companion.
