Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 15 outlaws including three professional beggars from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered drugs, weapons and valuables from their possession, a public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Secretariat police team arrested two accused namely Saleh Khan and Khan Muhammad and recovered stolen valuables from their possession. The Shalimar police team arrested two accused namely Sardar Khan and Ahsan Ali and recovered one 09 mm pistol and 106 ice from their possession.
Likewise, the Sumbal police team arrested an accused namely Bilal involved in illegally refilling gas cylinders. The SabziMandi police team arrested an accused namely Jabar Ali involved in theft activities. The Khanna police team arrested an accused namely Siraj and recovered 610 gram heroin from his possession, while the police team also arrested the accused namely Muhammad Akram involved in illegally selling petrol.
Similarly, the Koral police team arrested an accused namely RiyasatHussain and recovered 560 gram hashish from his possession, while the police team also arrested the accused namely Muhammad Banaras involved in illegally selling petrol.
