Justice Nadim’s retirement marked with full court reference

The Sindh High Court (SHC) organized a full court reference to bid farewell to Senior Puisne Judge, Justice Nadeem Akhtar, on the occasion of his retirement. Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, Justice Aqeel Ahmad Abbasi, along with other esteemed judges including Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui, Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, and Justice Salahuddin Panhwar, participated in the full court reference.

The event was attended by judicial officers, court officials, and members of the legal fraternity representing the SHC Bar Association and other bars. Chief Justice Aqeel Ahmad Abbasi commended the remarkable service of Senior Puisne Judge Nadeem Akhtar, describing him as one of the finest judges to have served in the Sindh High Court.

He highlighted Justice Akhtar’s significant contribution to the administration of justice, noting that he had resolved over 15,000 diverse cases during his 12-year tenure. Reflecting on his journey at the high court, Justice Nadeem Akhtar emphasized the duty of every judge to diligently hear the cases brought before them. He mentioned that court proceedings often extended beyond the official hours, with judges dedicating their time to writing verdicts late into the night to ensure timely justice delivery.
