ETPB approves welfare, administration projects

The 354th meeting of the members of the Evacuee Trust Property Board was held at the board office. Chairman Board Arshad Farid Khan presided over the meeting. Apart from Hindu and Sikh members from all over the country, official and non-official members participated in the meeting. Renovation and provision of basic facilities in temples and shrines were approved while the Trust Board’s agenda for development of valuable properties, business plan and provision of land to Pakistan Naval Headquarters were discussed.

Secretary Board Farid Iqbal, Deputy Secretary Admin Uzmi Shahzadi, Controller Accounts Adeel Ahmed, Sanaullah Khan, CEO Kartarpur Abu Bakr Aftab Qureshi, Deputy Secretary Saifullah Khokhar and other board officers participated in the meeting. A full briefing was given about the recent performance of the board administration. The secretary of the board said that according to the instructions of the chairman of the board, measures are being taken to increase the income of the board, while effective action is being taken against illegal occupants and defaulters. Important decisions were made regarding the further increase of income. The agenda of investing in more than one financial institution was discussed. Land and property of Trust Board, welfare of employees were also taken.
