As announced by the director-general of Semnan province’s Customs Department, exports from this province increased by 34 percent during the first 10 months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2023-January 20, 2024), as compared to the same period of time in the past year.
Morteza Hajian-Nejad also said that the province’s customs income rose by 88 percent in the ten-month period, year on year.
As previously announced by the official, the value of exports from Semnan province increased by
19 percent in the past Iranian calendar year 1401 (ended on March 20, 2023).—Tehran Times
